At low frequencies it shows a shielding response greater than that of the copper plate. This anomaly is most likely caused by the plastic composite's greater aperture sealing ability than the copper plate. At higher frequencies, however, more radiation is capable of getting by the composite than the copper panel. The response of the nickel coated glass fiber-polycarbonate composite is similar to the most highly loaded carbon black composite.

EXPERIMENTAL Electrical Measurements The electrical resistivities of the base polymers and the highresistivity composites were measured on a Keithly Instrument Company 6105 resistivity adaptor. The resistivities of the more conductive composites were measured using the circuit shown in Figure 1. A standard resistance is connected in series with the sample and a current is passed through the series circuit. Since the voltage drop across each resistor is proportional to its resistance, the resistance of the sample can be determined by comparing the voltage drop across it with that across a known resistor.
